A visa is a digital travel document issued by the Government of Sri Lanka that allows eligible international travelers to enter the country for short-term visits such as tourism, business, or transit. Instead of getting a traditional visa sticker in your passport, the visa is an online approval that is electronically linked to your passport. Once approved, you will receive your visa via email. You simply need to carry a printed copy or show it on your phone along with your valid passport when you arrive in Sri Lanka.
